Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff Conditions

Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff Conditions

Shoulder pain often results from rotator cuff strain or tears, tendinopathy, bursitis, or degenerative joint changes. Because the shoulder is a highly mobile joint, even minor injuries can significantly affect daily function.

Common Symptoms:

✦ Pain with lifting or reaching

✦ Weakness or limited range of motion

✦ Night pain or difficulty sleeping

✦ Clicking or catching sensations

Symptoms vary widely, and not all knee pain is caused by arthritis alone.

Evaluation Is Key

Some shoulder conditions respond well to conservative or regenerative care, while others may require surgical evaluation. Imaging helps determine appropriate next steps.

Therapies That May Be Considered

Depending on evaluation, treatment discussions may include:

✦ PRP Therapy for tendon or soft-tissue issues

✦ Stem Cell Therapy in select degenerative case

✦ ESWT for chronic tendinopathy

✦ PEMF as supportive recovery care

Candidacy Considerations

Partial-thickness tendon injuries and degenerative conditions may be considered for regenerative options. Full-thickness tears or instability may not be appropriate.

Compliance Policy:

Regenerative therapies are not appropriate for all conditions or all patients. A comprehensive medical evaluation is required to determine candidacy. Individual results vary. Some regenerative therapies discussed may not be FDA-approved but are permitted by the State of Florida when provided by a licensed physician in compliance with applicable regulations.
